Lis is an experienced and personable yoga and meditation teacher, facilitating regular workshops, courses and retreats locally and around the globe. She is fluent at making these ancient practices relatable to modern living and believes they're invaluable life skills to access our most calm and innovative self.
Her discovery of these techniques began over a decade ago as a way to manage stress and mental illness in her family. The resilience and calm she experienced from her regular practice naturally motivated her to delve into the knowledge and science of meditation. In 2007 she completed her Vedic Meditation Training with Thom Knoles in India and the USA.
After graduating as a Meditation teacher she moved to London and continued to study her other passion; Yoga. Influenced by the heat of Ashtanga, the alignment of Iyengar and the stillness of Yin, she completed a 240-hours Yoga Teacher Training.
Her popular yoga classes are creative and intelligently sequenced to progress practitioners in finding suppleness and strength through movement. Her teaching style integrates her love of biomechanics, consciousness and Ayurvedic medicine to inspire a holistic approach to wellness.
Since returning to her hometown of Bondi, she has also been involved in facilitating corporate wellbeing programs. Providing practical tools for stress management and emotional intelligence to enhance productivity and creativity in the workplace.
